Cody Montana Black was born in Peoria, IL and raised in Elmwood, IL, son of Don and Vickie Black. He has one beautiful younger sister, Rocque, an amazing brother-in-law, Stuart, and two adorable nieces, Kaileigh and Kaigen. He attended Elmwood Elementary and Elmwood Jr./Sr. High School where he participated in baseball, basketball, track, football and weight lifting. In his spare time he has always loved hunting, fishing, working outside on anything and playing with his loveable pup, Fergy. After high school he attended University of Wisconsin-Platteville where he majored in Criminal Justice and minored in biology. After college, and months of hard work looking for a job, he decided to join the U.S. Army where he went to Fort Leonard Wood, MO for Basic Training. After graduating he was moved to Fort Huachuca, AZ for AIT Training, where he met his gorgeous wife-to-be. After graduating there he moved to Fort Hood, TX where he was shipped off to Afghanistan for four long months. Now that he’s back on American soil he is based in Fort Hood, TX working hard to get to the top.
